How to be completely (un)productive during the holidays...

When it comes to the holidays, it's just too easy to find time that's better spent being completely unproductive.

And what are the most productive ways to be unproductive?

1.  http://www.happyplace.com/  They have a fantastic array of lists that will keep you entertained for HOURS.  Also part of this website is http://www.someecards.com/, equally time-wasting and fantastic.

Some of my favorites come from "10 more of the most enjoyably cantankerous notes ever posted in the workplace."

2.  http://www.pinterest.com/  This virtual pin board has a potentially endless number of 'pins' and it's completely addictive.  Seriously, like crack, or chocolate.
It's a fantastic way to be unproductive, while everyone else does the unproductivity for you.

My favorite is going to the humor category.  I have literally wasted DAYS at work on Pinterest.

3.  Blog about being unproductive.  Unfortunately, there is a lot of time to be spent researching ways to be unproductive (like sorting through Pinterest and Happyplace.com and finding many, many, many amusing things), so it's kind of a catch 22.

Alternately, you can just READ blogs about being unproductive.  Or you could read blogs about other people that are actually being productive.  Either way, you still aren't getting anything done and that equals success, my friends!
